They'll probaby go with a different protagonist and mythology.

Norse Mythology would be cool, almost tailor made for fights with huge beings and incredible backdrops. Sea monsters, frost giants, trolls, shapeshifters, portals to other worlds, etc. 

That's the mythology I hope they decide to use.
