puhh I already thought you were about eliminating DK, but then I read about those then points subtraction... I'm fine with that, but I would wait for a while before redoing it, even if there would be no elimination because dropping by twenty points in a short time is almost the same as an elimination for most of the characters, and it keeps the game interesting if it goes not too fast.
