Not only that, the Wii only has a few more 90+ games and RE4 is a PS2 port (because the GC version doesn't have all of what the PS2 version does, and the Wii version only added a control option). |
RE4 is kind of a hybrid port. It has all the content of the PS2 version, but adds the superior graphics of the GC version.
I don't think GC and PS2 games should be counted for their successor anymore than Xbox games should be counted for the 360. If the game is re-released somehow then it becomes a part of the line-up again, but until then there is going to be a very large gap in how aware people are of the game and how available it is. The GC is the absolute closest to being able to claim it, but still is miles off from being accurate.
