Yeah, I mean PS4 and XBO did have some good stuff (LBP3 and I:SS on Sony's side and SO and Forza Horizon 2 on MS's side) but they were really drowned out by the overhyped bullshit (mostly multiplats) or broken launches (MCC and Driveclub). It's a shame, but the future is looking bright.
Splatoon is a tough one to predict. I think it'll land somewhere in Pikmin 3's area (87). I'd say + or - 3 points to be safe (so 84-90). Reviewers this gen seem to either be looking for complete perfection of a genre (games like Bayonetta 2, Bloodborne and Smash Bros.) or inventiveness/innovation (Middle-earth, possibly Splatoon). Whether they will be harsh over things like lack of voice chat, we'll have to see.
