GR select only the "truly" professionnal references, is more accurate and is a much better searching tool.

I hear you!  I've only ever used Gamerankings also.  Much better site, way easier to find what you want and is miles more trustworthy for averages I find on the whole.  I dont get the love for Metacritic myself.
