My way deals with all relevant points, separated into easy to read paragraphs for the other person's benefit. Writing on a smartphone doesn't prevent you from creating paragraphs.
If those are your insecurities that's not my fault, I'm merely dealing with all of your points, I'm not going on as you put it, no need to get testy here, it's only a forum. If you make a claim, which the evidence doesn't support then expect people to call you on it, especially in a forum like this. Same goes for making a thread that people don't agree with, expect it to be dissected.
Actually you said that Microsoft are fighting Sony with 3rd party, I pointed out that Sony are actually using 3rd party more than Microsoft, which is a fact, because way more of their games are actually coming from external studios in the near future, meaning they actually still have their 1st party games to continue to bolster their exclusive library.
If Sony hasn't got as many 1st party exclusives as 3rd party, but they definitely have 1st party studios working on a lot of games, then at some point they need to announce those titles, many of those games have been in development for a very long time.
This basically shows that Sony not only outdevelops Microsoft with their internal resources, but also external, meaning there's very little that Microsoft can do to outperform Sony in game quality and output. Having software sales dominance also means that it's way more likely for Sony to gain more 3rd party exclusives, simply because the market trends show Sony will sell more games.
As for your claims of Microsoft having more bigger games this year simply isn't true, as I pointed out Sony has 10 big AAA exclusive titles coming in 2015, Microsoft only has 3, that's a fact. The market of new buyers at large will be much more interested in a complete library with a more varied array of content over a few games that they may consider worthwhile. What you're also forgetting here is that PS4 also has the big 3rd party titles coming this year, so it's not like new gamers to 8th gen will only have the exclusives, but rather they have a bigger library of exclusives (16 on PS4 vs 3 on XB1 this year, plus the other exclusives from the past) and a huge selection of 3rd party games too.
This basically brings us to the crux of the matter as far as your thread's claim goes. Sony has more exclusives, the only really big exclusive game coming to XBox One this year is Halo 5, Forza has never been a huge seller and Quantum Break is an unproven new IP, there's little reason to believe that it will be a huge seller, even Alan Wake wasn't massive on 360. As an Xbox Fan obviously you're going to be stoked for these games and the other Xbox exclusives (by which mean games not coming to Playstation or another console, but which can come to PC), but people that are yet to buy an 8th gen console obviously haven't been interested enough to buy one yet and they'll be looking for more than just a few reasons to get a new system.
Playstation 4 offers a lot more this year. Wii U has more exclusives coming than XB1, but it lacks the multiplats, but still exclusive library vs exclusive library for 2015 Wii U has a much bigger library of content.
It could be argued that maybe Wii U could do with more exclusives to make up for the lack of 3rd party content, but it's library for 2015 is already pretty packed with games only available on Wii U.
When it comes down to it the Xbox One only has 3 outright exclusives this year, any of it's other games are either cross gen or, kept off of Playstation, Nintendo machines or they're multiplats, PS4 has 16 exclusives and Wii U has around 10, with multiplats and cross gen being present too too increase the libraries of games overall, Sony and Nintendo don't need to go crazy at E3, not if they don't want to, really it's Microsoft that needs to, because they have the weakest line-up, 3 exclusives vs what the others have is small.
As platforms PS4 and Wii U have a big breadth of content exclusive to them this year, that holds more weight than one big exclusive and 2 smaller ones.
What you need to understand is that Sony and Nintendo do their own thing, they reveal games when they're ready. Microsoft's library of exclusives is very much lacking in variety and volume this year, Sony could do with an FPS and a racer, but they have a wide range of other games, the kind of content that has been selling PS4 since the start and will continue to do so. Wii U has it's niche, but a very decent library of exclusives overall.
If Multiplats weren't a thing then Xbox One would be seriously lacking, that can't be said of Wii U and PS4, especially not this year.
Indies are actually some of the best games of the generation so far, I mean look at Ori and Resogun, along with plenty of others they're clearly carving out the market and defining this generation like none before it. PS4 is an indie powerhouse and the sheer number of those games really can only strengthen the system's dominance on the market. AAA aren't the big deciding factor like they once were. Indie usually means innovation, interesting and generally made for the fun of playing games.
You're not giving solid reasoning as to why your claims should be taken seriously, PS4 and Wii U have big libraries of exclusives coming this year, the Xbox One doesn't, it actually pails in comparison to those two platforms, the only thing that makes XB1 dominant over Wii U is that it has 3rd party games, that can't be said of PS4.
Both Sony & Nintendo will no doubt bring it at E3, same goes for Microsoft, but really it's Microsoft that needs to do so more than anyone else.
