Bing!!!... And you have hit the nail on the head. I find it funny how some of the folks in this thread who probably started their hard core carrier on the playstation, can comment about something they barely remember, it took a nice wjile for the playstation to start picking up great games, for it to be hailed as one of the grates consoles of yesteryear.
@ Grifin
wow So now it was sony that took the console industry out of the slump. Interesting, funny though i have not heard of the great game crash in the mid 90's, perhaps i need to read my history books again. Thats not to say sony did not contribute greatly to gaming, but are you really that much in love with sony you would start making up history, my friend i think you just thrown all your credibility out of the window, because this shows your veiws are so biased to the point you are willing to lie and look like you actually no nothing about this industry that you love so much past.
The Wii will be as grate if not greater than the PS2, it will take time. That doesn't mean it will take away anythng the PS1 or 2 did nothing can, just like they intern have not taken away thing what the nes or snes did, all of them contributed greatly in this industry and have laid out a solid foundation for the future of consoles. I love gaming as much as the next guy, but i am not willing to be so ignorant as to start making up stories, not trying to attack you griffin, though its grate you love sony console gaming, don't let it take you to the point of ignorance, its not cool.
