Yeah, Sony owned last gen big time with the PS2. They were all set to TOTALLY OWN the next gen.  It didn't happen, though.  Why? The PS3, priced at $599, was (in hindsight), one of the dumbest moves they could possibly have made. Had the PS3 been $399 out of the gate and approached $299 within the first year, they would have stormed the market... Nintendo won't make the same mistake. The Wii 2 or whatever it is called (I vote Revolution) will not be a $600 console. Plan on it being approachable by the masses from day one, 100% backward compatible, but having graphics hardware better than where the PS3 and 360 are today. All that for, say, $299 at launch perhaps?

It could be a long 10 - 15 years for Sony and MS if Nintendo steps up to the plate and gets the AAA third party titles rolling and manufactures some more damn hardware.

*Oh Yeah* I guess I'm the only one who finds it a bit inappropriate for a 7 year old to be playing COD4.
