This is something that puzzles me. Gamers on this site, who don't own a PS4 yet and never intend to buy one, apparently have the most problem with God Of War III: Remastered. But why is it so? The remaster is perfectly fine for many reasons.

Firstly, it celebrates the 10th anniversary of the series. I mean, that calls for some sort of release right? As they didn't have a new God Of War game, they ported the best one in the series.

Secondly, God Of War III is an older game than most other remasters. Its 5 years old. Lets compare that to other remasters.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - 1 year old

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - 2 years old

Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition - 2 years old

Saints Row IV: Re-elected - 2 years old

GTA V - 1 year old

Dark Souls II - 1 year old

God Of War III is a much older game than these remasters, which didn't get any backlash for being new.

Thirdly, many people are complaining a lack of exclusives on P4 and saying that God Of War III: Remastered is coming to fill up the gap. But till March atleast, PS4 has the most exclusives in 2015 of any console. The rest of the year doesn't look blank either, with Everyone's Gone to the Rapture, Until Dawn and No Man's Sky coming. There's also a possibility of Rime releasing this year. That could be that PS4 has the most exclusive games in 2015 of any console.
