Like books, films, music etc. always comes out for an ever ageing audience. Every year a couple of million small children become console playing kids and a couple of million kids become adults. ...and a couple of million adults get time/money/interest to play games. They maybe do not have time/money/interest to get all the old console, all the original games. For all these groups this remastered game that they never played but may have heard a lot about is a new experience.
