Leveling up at the camp is a fantastic idea. They did a good job to make your progress through the day counts. Leveling up by pausing the game and go to the menu would have affected that feeling of "daily adventures". Brilliant design.

As for the leveling up itself, I definitely prefer more complex system. As far as I know, there is no information whatsoever about it right now.

Gambit system was already confirmed. Just like more variety of weapons and equipments.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the depth presented in the battle system even with the limited content in the demo. The demo in general is not all that balanced. You level up way too fast which almost removes the need to plan things and act carefully... Except for the Behemoth fight.
