Sometimes stores will get games/movies early. The store I used to run would get orders on Monday to be ready for release on Tuesday but now and then we'd get the package on Friday. That was awesome because we'd get to take stuff home over the weekend before anyone had seen it. However, that was just for employees, as breaking the release date for customers could cause trouble if the distribution company found out.
