Not really. GTAV and TLOU won hundreds of GOTY awards. How many did the remasters of those two win?

Those 2 you mentioned are two of the best ever yes but most remasters were excellent games.  God of war 3 won a few goty awards and was nominated for many. Others I can think of like saints row,  metro redux,  sleeping dogs,  payday 2, the walking dead,  dmc,  gravity rush,  resident evil,  tomb raider,  dark souls 2, borderlands,  tearaway etc are top class.
