Well thats another issue and unrelated. Me personally, i like digital. But it's undeniable there is a healthy list of new gen original ip's.

Hell divers got a 9 from IGN. If you're so dismissive of where the industry is headed, just buy the annual releases of cod and sub annual halo/forza/fallout whatever and be happy. You're the kind of guy that wants new games, but dismissive of new games because of their scope. If you want new IP's like bloodborne, these are the devs of tomorrow that could be the ones that make that. Look at Joe danger to no mans sky. Same dev, was successful with joe, and can make a game 1000x's larger in scope. You really have no ground to complain about remasters when you dismiss new ip's like 'meh'

Nevertheless, sony are making new IP's. Not system sellers, but God of War will sell systems and encourage more people to buy some of these 'shitty indie games' which will only be better for us in years 4/5/6
