Even if they are looking for a buyer, I don't see it happening. That's an investment of billions of dollars, plus the Xbox ecosystem is VERY closely tied to Windows and Microsoft services. How would that even work? It would be extremely complicated and require a ton of compromise on both sides. Would Windows and Xbox need to disentangle themselves from one another or would there be a tricky partnership between the buyer and the seller? Neither situation seems very desirable.
Seems unlikely.
