No they wouldn't be miniscule. Exclusives look so much better than multiplatform games so I don't know what you're talking about. PC exclusive? Lol, why would anyone want that? For one consoles are the money makers for AAA titles like MGS, not PC. PC gamers don't buy games day 1, they always wait for sales. So unless we want Kojima to go bankrupt, no thanks. You might as well say why doesn't Rockstar make GTA 6 exclusive to PC? They could probably make the most beautiful game on PC. But lets see, GTA 5 had a budget of $250+ million. Do you think they would have made that money back on PC in one day? Hahaha never. Do you think GTA V can sell 35 million on PC? Hahaha never. The point is there are tons of devs that can develop games on PC for better graphics but none would do that. Two, the reason I said Sony was because I trust them. If Kojima did go too Sony they would give him freedom. That is what Sony does. They take chances, they give their developers freedom. They didn't try to hold back Heavy Rain creatively like Microsoft did. They've also been making new IPs. Take a look with Evo, they did Driveclub, they could have kept doing Motorstorm. Yet we have Microsoft's First Party Studios doing the same thing, Halo, Gears, Fable, Forza. Even if they did go to a 3rd party developer like EA, or Activision that would also end up badly like Bungie with Destiny or Insomniac with Fuse. Sony would treat Kojima like Naughty Dog. EDIT: Also I just built a gaming PC last Black Friday, so don't go assuming I don't have one. |
You are talking about money makers, but don't want them to maximize their profits by going multiplatform?
