::laugh:: Uhm, no. The gaming market DIED after Atari 2600, and the NES brought it back from out of the gaming depression.


He's right. Even If Sony never showed up, It would've still been Nintendo & Sega going at it, then Xbox. GC vs. XB vs. Sega something. The market would've been alive whether Sony came or not. PS2 actually helped finish off the Dreamcast and Sega as a home console mainstay.
