Thats not how it works......nor is it that easy. For one ps4 will drop in price easier in the long haul because sony was smart and used GDDR5 and MS went with esram and older ddr3 which won't drop anymore unlike GDDR5, if anything it might get more expensive, look at prices of DDR2 ram now. GDDR5.   You can only go so low, playing your price card to early was already a mistake by MS, as now when sony drops to 299 in one fell swoop the impact will be large, MS has already set a lower standard for their product.

Yes I understand what you are saying, and I am not implying that Microsoft has a chance at winning outselling the PS4.  I am only implying that one of their problems is that the value of the console is obvisouly precieved to be lower than the 349.  I am saying they pretty much destroyed the consumer's belief that the console is worth 349 without any games.
