"NX" is the platform, and both handheld and console will run this platform. The handheld will release first, then console soon after. Some games will run on both of them, but some games will be different on each device to take advantage of each's strengths (console for power, handheld for portability). Both devices will allow games to be developed in the same environment and the engines will be used for both as well.
