That's in line with the wii, since it only started dying after 2011, and the next generation started in 2012.

The Wii U started to fall into a slump after the fourth year and they continued to slump into 2011 when they showed off the Wii U. It was front loaded hype controlled by limited amounts of constrained shipments for three years. Genius planning. It made it hard for people to get their hands on Wii's for years. That console was not aimed at the traditional crowd and those people did not return.

constrained shipments for 3 years? lol, it sold out for 1 year and sold a lot for another 3 years.

"That console was not aimed at the traditional crowd and those people did not return." both affirmatives are wrong since wii was aimed at everyone, especially the tradicional crowd, wich did "return".
