No more than I did back in 2008 when I started playing most of my multiplatform games on PC.
It was actually one of the selling points of the 8th gen that I could get the same 1920x1080 native render sharpness out of *most* games on console that made me transition back to console/PS4 for the added simplicity.
I'm still quite amazed and impressed that developers were able to do as much as they did with 7th gen hardware given the memory constraints. 256MB VRAM for the PS3 and 512MB shared for the XB360 was not much better.
The main saving grace for 1280x720 res on 7th gen consoles is that players generally sit further back when playing on consoles whereas on PC, your face is generally 1-2" away at most, making every bit of sharpness very apparent.
I tend to play standing in front of the HDTV, so the difference between 1080p and 720p is pretty obvious.
