Do remember one important thing they left out in the tutorial though, Locking-on to enemies. Holding r1 or Warp striking enemies will not lock you on an enemy but merely let Noctis target the enemy but not follow it. You need to press r3 after holding r1 or after warp striking to Lock-on.
