I think most of my games last gen were new IPs.
Only counting reatil games:
AC, Infamous, Motorstorm, Mirror's Edge, Resonance of Fate, Nier, Sports Champions, Dragon Age, Valkyria Chronicles, Heavy Rain, TLOU, Bayonetta, Bioshock, Borderlands, Xenoblade Chronicles, Split/second, Portal, Sleeping Dogs and probably some other PC games I forgot.
That's easily multiples of the non-new IPs I bought. Really was a great gen for new IPs.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
