It's about time, people who don't want to accept it can go back to distant past on 80's, 90's or early 2K.
it is a natural form of evolution from Wii perspective actually, with the design to cater more audience especially new gamer (core, casual, non Nintendo gamer), bigger market ain't that bad it's the opposite it will create opportunities for bigger profit and it worked in the past with Wii.
Soon the face of video games industry will change into a weird face, unfamiliar for old gamer but games and gamer still there, it just live on different form.
We cannot stop it the natural evolution, we may not like it but the future kid might accept it, it doesn't matter because sooner or later we will be replaced by a new generation. What we can do is just embrace it.
