I figure not even a third of the PS3 owners know anything about HOME (yeah, pulling it out of my ass, but I think that's very likely) so delay or not, not many people are "waiting" on this anyway.
What I do think they should've addressed a long time ago are the "small things" like in-game XMB, more and better media player features, improve XMB features related to the friend's list, messaging (more options, diversity in general). Improved downloading features too (auto-install downloads, auto-shutdown, etc.) and there's a ton of things from the mudane ones like a friggin' on-screen clock to the more technical ones. I hope the new PS Store is just the start and they will address these issues which contrary to Home, regular PS3 users see as real needs for a no-hassle, enjoyable experience.
