As far as games that Sony thinks could push console sales, perhaps it does. But perhaps also exclusive advertising deals cut both ways. Sony gets to advertise the game exclusively, but ads for that game must exclude any other 3rd party multiplat games. After all Batman is competing for the gamer dollar against other 3rd party multiplats, and since they are dissing other platforms for marketing purposes they need to seek to maximise sales on the one platform that can advertise the game.
