I've walked more of central England more than anything else. Take a look at the Peak District. Pictures don't give a very good sense of scale though:

I think the very first place I visit in Europe, before anywhere else, is going to have to be Ireland.   Really want to see the Tara Skryne valley someday, though, it's sad that it now has a highway running straight through it :(
