I live in the North of England and have to put up with seeing areas where "if a donkey had a red rosette it would still get elected", not my words... but oh so very, very true. If you actually explore policies with many of those people they are bordeline Nazi's... yet they vote Labour. Should we ban them from voting too? |
I'm not so sure that's a bad thing. A lot of "intelligent" people out there think they know "what's best for everybody". For example, based on your posting history, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be too happy with the results if only the University professors in the UK were allowed to vote 
Wasn't one of the defenses against Gordon Brown something along the lines of "he's the most intelligent Prime Minister in recent history" (I guess by somekind of measure in academics or IQ, or something).
