There was no thread last Sunday due to a bussiness trip, so you guys get something more special this time, Mario.
Mario is undeniably Nintendo's biggest franchise, its the face of the company and of videogames in general, when thinking about videogames the first thing to come to the minds of plenty of people is Mario, even the level 1-1 music is part of popular culture, Mario is a juggernaut, he's arguably more popular than Mickey Mouse!
Obviously the series was always a big seller, however this thread is only about the mainline of platformers, if I were to include every Mario game ever it'd be nearly endless, so here are only the games that have "Super Mario" in the title, are platformers and you play as Mario, sorry Yoshi's Island and Super Mario Land 3, but you don't count.
So, first of all, chart all Mario games to have sold over one million units worlwide, this is info that Nintendo has directly released throughout the years.
Graph bar as always, only games to sell over 10 million units, because Mario is just that huge.
