There's tons of content and the boss fights are epic.
FYI Darksiders one and two both run parallel to each other so they aren't exactly sequels - as in, the events that happen in number one are happening at the same time that number two is playing out. War has been accussed of calling about the apocalypse ahead of schedule and he must prove himself innocent, while Death is scavenging heavel hell and earth trying to find him. The remaining two horseman are presumedly supposed to be in game #3. As someone who isn't religious I find the whole heaven vs hell with humanity being wiped out aspect to be highly fascinating. |
Good to know! It looks like a very interesting series, and one that I would enjoy immensely.
And that makes sense. Though I'd still opt to play 1 before 2, just because I've screwed this up so many times for myself. (ex: Playing Dead Space in the order 3->1->2, Uncharted in 2->1->3, the Arkham games City -> Asylum -> Origins, etc.) I'm not religious either, but that storyline sounds intense! Kinda reminds me of Bayonetta with its heaven vs hell themes.
