No, nothing is truly a fact, a give you that. But we can call it a fact when you see this game univesally praised, being on every relevant list of the best games ever, scored 9.7 on metacritic as one of the 5 best games ever, selling more than 7 millions (almost 20 if we count the 2 GALAXY), being widely considered the best Wii game ever made and the 1º - 2º best 3D Mario game ever made, and of course, one of the best platformers ever.
If you don´t think Galaxy deserves a place on that poll, then you are being very biased.
And is not only Galaxy, what about Xenoblade Chronicles? Is one of the best Rpg ever made, why there´s so many shooters and no platformers, rpgs and Puzzle games? When we had things like Portal, Xenoblade, Skyrim and Mario Galaxy? Because this is a VERY biased list, that don´t represent anything more than a personal taste, one that excludes a lot of great things.
