well they love nintendo, Making amiibo for there franchise, a franchise where they want to base as the center of their company might be a really good way for them to stand out and besides some people like figurines for games and amiibo is such a thing :)

It would definetely sell well on wii u... But at its current place, it seems like the devs are doing marco polo.. Marco! Without nintendo replying polo...    Until we hear from nintendo officialy about this project, ill keep a dose of healthy scepticism, only to not be let down later :---p amiibo unlikely though, as it is a brand nintendo seems to be very proud of, and they dont wanna sully that brand with allowing right about anything to be part of it.
