lol, yep Sony knows if an IP Address belongs to a friend of his. A "Sony investigation" does not prove a thing either. But either way it really is the guys fault for either falling for a social engineering trick or having a weak password.

I am pretty sure Sony has done their due diligence with this case cause I doubt that they would give him a refund without looking at everything... And whether or not the guy's fault really isn't the issue not that you could prove that it was due to his weak password that caused him to be in this sitution or social engineering. The issue is how idiotic Sony's policies on the matter is if the victim was/is telling the truth
