Good read. Don't know too much about the early US game industry as Europe played out in a completely different way with formats from the early 80s lasting until the 16 bit big boys came along. Even then the Amigas and Atari 500s were big until the dawn of the likes of PlayStation and Windows 95.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
