I think 2:1 seems right considering the user base if were talking NA. Its not a failure on Sony's part, but just the fact that EVERYONE will be getting this game. 1st week I think its 3 million, but it will be sold out on both platforms. WW this game will hit 6 million within the first few weeks IMO.
This is the first game that really matters to the mainstream. Its huge, it actually deserves all this hype (cough Halo cough). And its attractive to every mainstream gamer that has ever picked up a game.
This shit is going to be bigger than anyone is predicting right now. I think the Wii is about to lose a bit of market share in the coming months. (Not to one particular console, but it will be barely outselling both consoles (not combined lol) so market share will slowly start slipping for a few months.
I also don't think the Wii will ever be as dominant ever again outside of Japan.
