How is this sad? A game that is the direct cause of sponsorships for gamers is sad? Gamers who have made millions because of CoD and Twitch?!?! That is like the haters who bash on MOBAs. Stop the damn hate. Sure CoD lacks creativity, but the skill cap is far higher than any other console game in context to competitive gaming. The only one that even merits debate is Halo.
Stop hating CoD especially the older ones. You may not think it is hate, but calling it sad is.
This is truly amazing. I'd buy the shit out of MW2 multiplayer!. Remastering it would be far more worth it than CoD4/WaW/BO2.
My reasoning being:
CoD4 - Remaster would be amazing and I would totally buy it, but it just would not last as long as MW2. MW2 has all the same great features (okay a lot of loadouts are OP af) but it has so much more customization. Though passing up CoD4 maps and Mike Myers with Old School settings enabled would be rough!!! oh yeah...and Shipment.
WaW - My most played CoD, 35+ days of gameplay on multiplayer. The CoD with the best stat tracking system to exist, the CoD with my favorite glitches, the CoD with the most versatile gun loadouts!. Sure the MP44, jugg, dual rounds was ridiculous, but an STG and Thompson were also fucking amazing. Only gripes, is it would not capture the attention of the majority like MW2.
BO2 - Skip BO1, worst game in franchise pre Ghost. This is the most competitive CoD. I have made so much money on mlg/gamebattles from this game. It was incredible!! Lots of competitive elements map control being number 1. Maps were not as good, neither were the guns. But I loved so much about this CoD. It was hard to come back if you were down, yet very possible if you strategized well and planned ahead.
