Do any cable companies that don't provide internet block HBO Go? If so I'd be surprised. They would do this at the risk of losing customers.

Well yeah, I can't disagree that it is a poor buisness decision. And I'm no fan of Comcast (had to write a letter to their collection agency last summer for my roommate and I, and the collection agency dropped it.) We dropped their internet, and now my roommate and I just tether from our phones for everything. It's faster than the basic internet we were getting from comcast anyway (from 3mbps down, 1mbps up to 30 mbps down 3 mbps up, on average.) I just wanted to make it clear that their activities aren't necessary illegal. One might argue an anti-competitive case, but then Comcast will point out hundreds of other companies that do similar stuff (exclusive deals.)
