To me since a vast majority of games are multiplat the fact the PS4 is the more powerful machine and will get better results on most of these games it is a massive factor that you are conviently ignoring.

I excluded it because the experience seems largely the same. There aren't any examples that I know of where it's like an entirely better experience on the PS4 compared to the Xbox One.


I play on a 70 inch TV, resolution directly affects my experience. The 1st half of last gen the X360's noticeable advantage in the quality of multiplats was a huge selling point for it. Funny how when it is now the other way around none of this matters anymore.

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
