Sega charged $22 per month to play online for the Dreamcast. Where was the outcry back then?

PSN and xbox live are a lot cheaper now its 5 or 6 dollars based on 1 year while sega wanted you to pay for 18 months. 18 months? Thats 396$ you had to pay.

Besides that, it was actually a very shaddy deal by sega as the dreamcast didnt last that long. I am pretty sure a lot of peoples subscriptions hasnt reached the 18 months as sega leaved the console bussines somewhere in that timeline.

It was for awhile.

Sega eventually DID charge for online play. $10 a month.

Not related to SegaNet though, that was around while online play was free.
