Why I care more about image quality than effects and asset quality when it comes to visuals.

Count me in there too. I'd rather have a sharp 1080p game with no textures than some giant pixels muddying up my visuals.
On PC if a game doesn't run at a stable 60fps I will turn down everything except resolution.
