You played Dark Souls very differently from me. I'm tempted to say that you played it incorrectly, but I suppose there isn't really a 'wrong' way to play if you did indeed get through the game.

You should be using all of the tricks in the book in that game. Parry and get a few light attacks in, block the next attack, switch to two-handed and hit them hard, dodge roll out of the way of the next one... how did you fight Ornstein & Smough? With L1 and R1? You never used items while playing, either?

I ran around a pillar in their room lol 

I actually did half of a Poison Dagger only run too.
