Any true FF fan will know this to be true about FF. Its an RPG that keeps reinventing itself and holding onto nothing but nomenclature.
I've played every mainline FF, and I liked the combat in 12 more than the others. But that's just me, and I feel that's what's great abt FF. There isn't a fixed FF system diffrnt people will prefer different systems. All of a sudden people are coming outta everywhere and making it look like they all expected FF15 to be turn based and how its flawed cause of it. I can bet that if it were turn based they would be singing a different tune about how it lacks innovation and is stuck in the past.
