What makes you happy?

Gaming is the one thing that, albeit doesn't make me happy, keeps me from feeling sad. The people who make me happy are bad for me most of the time or forget about me and ignore me when I'm in need. They're unreliable and don't know what it does to me. My family... well that's a story unto itself but I've never felt close to them and they make me miserable if anything.

I'm on a bit of a journey to put myself together and I was hoping something could inspire me. Because all the advice I get is to do things that make me happy or do things for myself. But I don't have a sense of self and my sense of self worth is at its lowest. I've been working out for the last two months and I feel no more confident than when I started and no happier.

I just don't know what to do.

You should become more out going and you'll inevitably meet people with different interests. You said you've been working out, imo the gym is one of the easiest places to make new friends. I met a guy at the gym who's really into guns, whenever I see him there he'll always talk about guns and keeps asking me to try it out if I have some free time. I tried it last week and I think I found another hobby.
