Depends on how long you expected it to be there. I bet it took longer than most people were expecting for it to drop out of the top 100, and for some people it took longer than they were hoping. It certainly took longer than I was expecting. It was bascially 2 weeks in the top 100 and I was sure it would be out of the top 100 before the end of Feb. When you look at the top 100 there aren't many full priced games there that are not the latest games in franchises that have been around quite a ling time. I think Dying Light (PS4 version in the 80s) is about the only exception to that.

Honestly, I expected it to last quite a bit just based on the fact that it's a PS4 exclusive. Infamous SS still shows up in the Top 100 from time to time, and that came out last year (like, the beginning of last year). Likewise, Middle-Earth and (like you said) Dying Light are still charting. I guess word of mouth just killed its momentum.

I think the bolded statement just applies to the game industry as a whole, lol.

Like I said, the older games only chart once the price has been cut. ISS is listed at about $25 at the moment, and SoM is $30. It will be interesting to see if and for how long the Order gets into the top 100 when it is cut to $40, in about 2 or 3 months. I'm sure it will get mentioned in the Amazon May or June thread when it happens. I think word of mouth and not so good reviews have obviously prevented it from being PS4's killer app, so it is not surprising that it only spent 2 weeks in the top 100.

I wonder what the happy medium will be for The Order to sell enough to get a sequel, but not sell so well that RaD thinks it can get away with not fixing some of the genuine flaws that exist in this game. Lots of people, including reviewers who didn't like the game very much, are keen to see a sequel that is actually good in all respects. Which means most people love the world RaD have created, they just don't love what they've experienced of it. So I hope Sony gets that message, and even if the game doesn't make a financial return Sony does give it anohter shot, but this time perhaps gets someone from Naughty Dog to mentor the development, or perhaps tells SSM they need to be more active in their oversight from the beginning. I am very keen for another SP only game (or SP+split screen co-op), but next time it needs to be 12-15 hrs for a normal playthrough, and a substantial improvement on some aspects of gameplay. Unlike some people I am happy with the core aspects of the game play, but some elements need improvement, like the way you battle the lycans.
