They (Microsoft) got destroyed with the Xbox. They (Microsoft) dominated (had majority control) with the Xbox 360 until the last few years (where PS3 overtook it in sales).

I am genuinely confused as to why you are confused.

The original poster was referring to the PS brand as a whole (not specific consoles), and it appeared as if this was your retort to his contention. I see that you're talking about the console, not the brand.
