I was excited.

Until I looked at this video. If you are in a happy mood, skip my post please.

It looks like shit. **** this game. Static pre-made scenery (didn't see any walls and stuff for custom building, just plop a whole d*mn mountain in there because why the h*ll not), grid-based, unrealistic floaty sh*t, crappy theming and rides that look way too happy for their own good and no curved paths. That's just great. Why can't developers not just look at history and only improve upon what's been successful? Is that so fr*cking hard? Just make the same as what was there but elaborate. Why does it always need to s*ck this hard? And to top it all off, it looks like a blocky Sketch-Up model that hasn't been properly rendered. *********!

I'm sorry, I usually don't like to swear, but things like this seriously start to p*ss me off and we're almost at the point where the camel's back can't carry any more straws for me. Now fueled by EA putting the final nail in the Maxis coffin (and thus any real chance of a true SimCity 5). Seeing this and other things I now permanently believe 1994 through 2003 was the Golden Age of gaming and it won't ever get better. And this has nothing to do with glasses that are supposedly rose-tinted either. Everything will just get destroyed by modern day stupidity and lack of vision. Just make something with the depth of Candy Crush and have it look flashy and it's all good. And this doesn't even look flashy.

The other contender, Coaster Park Tycoon, which is being made by the actual developers of RCT3 (and the expansions of 2) is going to s*ck hard as well, I can see it from a mile away and I won't even care anymore. It's name is uninspired and s*cks already, so that's strike one.

Oh well, at least there won't be any need to upgrade my 2009 PC for the foreseeable future.

Thank god for Zelda U. I'm putting my faith in gaming at the moment in the possibility that it and Uncharted 4 aren't getting ruined because those are one of the tiny minority these days that are actually being handled by competent people. If it weren't for those, I would stick to retro gaming.

I'm sorry, again, for this rant, but I just had to vent this. You can read again now .
