Hm, yet they had no problem putting games on the PS2, even though it was clearly more popular than powerful. I smell hypocrisy. Though it is generally a sign that a paradigm shift is heavily underway when a developer flat-out refuses to work with a system that's markedly different from the norm. Developers were crying much the same when the DS came out, but all for naught.

Although, assuming Epic bull-headedly retains this stance, I would not expect them to last very far into the next generation of consoles. Just as the Atari developers who couldn't adapt to the changes the NES brought about fell off the face of the planet, so too will Epic if they persist in refusing to change.
