This is litterally how her scan visors work. She could detect Chozo technology on Elysia while she was on the Space Pirate Homeworld.

Right, except for the whole time thing. If she has prep time, sure but then Supes get's all the time she has to fly around the universe to find Kryptonite (all of it is in Smallville. :P) to stop her... he would only need 10 seconds, if that.

Samus is a bounty hunter. Supes wouldn't know she was spying on her. Samus doesn't enter a fight before doing research!
