Why are people so confused..

1) This is an Android TV device. It has access to all that Android TV offers (movies, apps, music) which includes Android Games..
2) Nvidia is working directly with developers to EASILY port over X360 games to the Android. They NEED the Tegra X1 to do this and these ports wont work on ALL Android devices. They are LEADING the charge to IMPROVE the quality of ANDROID games. Crysis 3, Borderlands Pre-Sequel, Doom 3 will ALL BE RUNNING DIRECTLY ON THE DEVICE. NOT STREAMING. NOT BOGUS.. The Tegra X1 makes the device about as powerful as the Wii U.. That is why it is VERY easy to port over X360 games..
3). The NEW titles (Next-Gen) are all done through the streaming service called GRID.. Which has been around for over a year they are for free on the SHIELD portable and tablet.. They are making it a REAL service and charging for it.. It is NOT like PS Now.. As PS NOW is OLD PS3 titles only curerntly.. this will be NEW PC titles on Grid (along with a back catalog.).. ALSO.. With each PURCHASE of a BRAND NEW GAME.. you get a STEAM KEY for it.. so you DONT just have it on GRID.. You also get the physical STEAM key for your PC.
4) This also can STREAM PC games from your PC to your TV if you have the right nVidia CARD..

This is not on OUYA in the least.. and considering nVidia is getting actual games on the device.. and not just "Android phone games".. it is a HUGE difference..

That all being said... This is likely NOT for everyone.. And I feel $99 (w/remote) for the device and $50 for the controller would have been a better price.. $199 for the console with controller, and then more for a remote is a bit much..
