Well my initial idea was to have the section to do research for gaming articles that would be presented later to everyone. But that idea got rejected.
As far as the thousand post thing I guess that would become an issue. Probably 100 would be suitable as the main point of that was so trolls wouldn't bother us. I do see your point though.
If you are at all interested in what happened or what I was thinking. I wrote 2 page article to clear some things up.
